I'm Sanskar Gupta — a filmmaker, screenwriter, and visual storyteller based in Mumbai, with experience across feature films, music videos, and high-profile commercial campaigns.
My work lives at the intersection of cinematic vision and execution. Behind the camera and on the page, I shape the narrative — writing award-winning scripts, defining visual tones, and executing complex concepts — while leveraging deep on-set expertise to bring stories to life.
I've earned assistant cinematography credits for Amazon Prime roundtables and written, co-directed, and produced the short film Dheemi Aanch which won Best Screenplay at the Aravali International Film Festival.
Beyond my independent creative work, my deep understanding of set mechanics has allowed me to protect the director's vision as an AD on three feature films and commercial campaigns for brands like Clinique, Policy Bazaar, Kama Ayurveda, and Motorola. I'm currently seeking directing, writing, and cinematography opportunities where creative ambition meets strong production instincts.
